I have dedicated most of my life to studying and working in areas that combine the fields of science, engineering and linguistics (remember, linguistics is a science!). I have worked as a software developer, professional translator and have taught linguistics, Spanish, German and English at both graduate and undergraduate levels at Franciscan University (Ohio, USA), University of Rhode Island (RI, USA), Ocean University of China (Qingdao, China), Sichuan University (Chengdu, China) and Corvinus University (Budapest, Hungary). One of my interests in linguistics involves how misinformation spreads. One of my interests in life is to cut through all the politics, blindness and propaganda and apply science and rationality to understand the way the world really is. On January 12 I left China just before the “mystery pneumonia” became known to much of the world. Since then I started studying everything I possible could about the science of Covid-19. I dedicated a good part of 2020 to developing this site. I felt this is the best way I can make a difference in the world during this difficult time.
