Through this new section, I look forward to having amicable discussions with people who understand science differently. I ask that we all accept that we have different points of view and hope that we may learn from each other. I like to “argue” in an academic sense but neither I nor anyone else should put anyone down for viewing a situation differently. I hope that my background in science and the knowledge I’ve acquired concerning COVID-19 may benefit others. I also hope to be challenged by others who know more than I do and by those with opposing views.
Note that I had earlier titled this section “Perspectives”, having believed that I would be more polite to those who have ideas that scientists were not agreeing with. After working on this for a year I had a good reason to change the title to “Myths”. I needed a shorter title after adding the Español section so that the entire WordPress menu would have enough room to sit unbroken on top of the page.
